Of great interest was the awareness event on child sexual abuse "AKOUSE MAS" ("LISTEN TO US"), on Saturday 05/04 in the foyer of the Town Hall of Thessaloniki, where it was organized by the NGO "AKOUSE MAS".
MENTBEST was hosted at the event with one of the project researchers, Dr. Evgenia Dandi, Psychologist, who together with other speakers, as well as people who have experienced child sexual abuse, talked about the trauma and impacts experienced by the survivors, the need for prevention and psychosocial support for survivors.
The event gained the interest of the participants where there was an interactive discussion that shed light on the legal framework, as well as the psychosocial issues concerning survivors, perpetrators, families and caregivers of children.
