The South East European Research Centre (SEERC) actively participated in the Technology Forum at the 33rd MONEY SHOW, held in Thessaloniki from March 14 to 16, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki. The event served as a key platform for discussions on innovation, sustainability, and investment, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers.
As part of the forum, Nikos Zaharis, Director of SEERC, participated as a speaker in the session “Entrepreneurship, Responsible Innovation, and the European Green Deal”, where he presented the ACCTING project. His presentation highlighted the project’s contributions to sustainable innovation and its role in fostering inclusive transitions across European communities.
Beyond the conference sessions, SEERC hosted a dedicated booth, where attendees had the opportunity to engage with the research team and learn more about SEERC’s ongoing European projects, including ACCTING and NebulOuS. The booth attracted strong interest from stakeholders across academia, business, and policy, facilitating discussions on the impact of EU-funded research and potential collaborations.
The Money Show remains a significant annual event that connects key players in the fields of investment, innovation, and economic development. With a combination of conferences and exhibitions, it provides a dynamic space for knowledge-sharing and networking. SEERC’s participation reinforced its commitment to advancing research-driven solutions and fostering dialogue between academia, industry, and policymakers.
