SEERC, as a partner in the GEO-POWER-EU Project, is excited to support the launch of GEO-POWER Talks, a series of discussions that will explore the future of EU enlargement and the security dynamics in the Western Balkans and Eastern Neighbourhood.
The GEO-POWER-EU Project is focused on strengthening the EU's ability to respond to geopolitical challenges, particularly in its surrounding regions. By analyzing key geopolitical actors and emerging security threats, the project provides insights into the EU’s enlargement policy and future strategy.
What to Expect:
Each session will feature insights from experts and researchers who will address:
- The future of EU enlargement.
- Geopolitical tensions and military threats in the Western Balkans.
- EU policies shaping the region’s future.
- Key findings from the GEO-POWER-EU Project.
First Session:
The first session is scheduled for 31 October 2024 at 4 PM CET and will focus on the upcoming EU report on enlargement. Key speakers include:

- Vesna Pusić, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Croatia
