Maria is a PhD candidate at the University of York, Management School. Her research aims to examine gender-related organisational change, and particularly how it is initiated through relevant organisational policies at both the formal and informal organisational level. The aim is also to examine this topic within the lens of Discursive Institutionalism and through the use of Organisational Discourse.
Maria completed her BA degree in English Language and Literature in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and afterwards obtained her MA degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Sheffield. She is also a Research Assistant at SEERC, participating in EU-funded projects. During these projects, her work has been focused on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), on institutional change, gender issues, as well as on issues related to equality and fairness in work environments particularly in the field of Research & Innovation.
