Dr George Pavlidis

PhD Student

Mr Pavlidis holds a Bsc (Hons) in Psychology from the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, CITY College. He had been a professional basketball player for 13 years. He was on the board of the Greek professional basketball players association (PSAK) for 3 years and president for 1 year. He is currently a PhD candidate of gerontology in SEERC, conducting research on the social factors that influence cognitive decline in the elderly using an interdisciplinary approach. His supervisors are Dr. Ana Vivas from The International Faculty and Prof. Alan Worker from The University off Sheffield.
