Director of South East European Research Centre- SEERC, Mr. Nikos Zaharis, and Professor Ana Vivas, attended the launching event of the new Institute of Mental Health Research by University of York, which was organized on October 10th, the same day as the World Mental Health Day.
The event took place in the National STEM Centre at the University of York and was also attended by the Vice Councellor, Professor Charlie Jeffrey, the director of the new Institute of the Mental Health Research, Professor Lina Gega, the university's academic community and members of the public.
The Institute of Mental Health Research aims to reduce the number of people affected by mental ill-health and its impact on individuals, families and health services.
