GEO-POWER-EU Interdependence Database Now Publicly Available
Added on 25/07/2025

We are pleased to announce that the Interdependence Database, developed as part of the EU-funded GEO-POWER-EU project, is now publicly accessible.

This unique database provides a detailed view of how nine countries—from the Western Balkans (WB6) and the Eastern Partnership region (EaP3)—have engaged with five key external actors: the European Union, United States, China, Russia, and Turkey, over the period 2007–2024.

The database captures the evolution of bilateral relationships across four core dimensions:

  • Political

  • Economic

  • Security

  • Societal

Users can explore a wide range of indicators, including:

  • Trade flows

  • International agreements

  • Military cooperation

  • Media presence

  • Cultural ties

The platform is designed to support comparative and in-depth analysis through filters by country, year, dimension, external actor, and specific indicators.

To learn more about the database structure, available indicators, and how to navigate the data, please visit GEO-POWER-EU's page: https://geo-power.eu/research-output/database/
