The South East European Research Centre (SEERC) is proud to announce that the R-Map project successfully concluded its first semester meeting and co-creation workshop at the University of Twente on September 3rd and 4th, 2024. This pivotal event brought together project partners to review progress, exchange insights, and shape the future direction of the project.

Day 1 – Progress Meeting:
The opening day focused on assessing the project's progress, with each partner sharing updates. The discussions confirmed that the project is on track, with tasks advancing as planned. The collaborative discussions strengthened partner alignment on both the current status and the path forward.

Day 2 – Co-Creation Workshop:
The second day was dedicated to an engaging co-creation workshop aimed at refining the R-Map Integrated Assessment Framework. Partners collaboratively explored key factors related to remote work and its impact on both urban and rural areas. The insights gathered during these discussions will be crucial in developing a robust framework for the ongoing assessment of remote work dynamics.

Looking Ahead:
As the project moves forward, the R-Map team remains dedicated to exploring the impact of remote work on regional disparities. This successful milestone marks a key step in the project’s journey toward bridging the urban-rural divide.
