Fields of Data: Leveraging AI for Smarter Farming
Professor Panayiotis Ketikidis, Chairperson at SEERC, presented on “AI in Agriculture: Fields of Data.” He highlighted agriculture's global challenges, such as climate change and population growth, and emphasized AI's role in improving agricultural efficiency, safety, and quality. AI can predict crop yields, detect diseases early, and enhance food security, leading to increased productivity and sustainability.
