We are pleased to announce that the Final Conference of the European project YOU RESPOND on the topic “Promoting participation amongst children and young people who have experienced violence” will be held on Monday, 6 December 2010, 10:00-16.00, at the Divani Caravel Hotel, in Athens, Greece with a total of 50 participants from Greece and abroad.
During the Final Conference the whole course of the project as well as the Final Guide will be presented, in the hope that it will be a useful resource for every professional who works with children and young people on their protection and the promotion of their meaningful participation as well as the preservation of their rights.
The goal of this project, in which four countries participated, the UK, Greece, Cyprus, and Bulgaria, has been the development of a Practice Guide for the promotion of the children’s and young people’s participation in issues pertaining to them, and especially of the vulnerable children who have experienced different forms of violence.
