The research aims to investigate the relevance of current trendsin the pedagogical development of elearning in UK Higher Education to the South East European, and specifically Greek HE context. Implications will be identified for pedagogical development of e-learning in Greece. The objectives include: To examine current pedagogical discourse, models, frameworks forelearningin the UK and South East Europe. To examine and compare the strategic framework for e-learning in the UK and South East Europe. To investigate and model Greek HE teachers’conceptions of and pedagogies for, the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning. To consider these conceptions and pedagogies in relation to UK trends and to identify implications for the pedagogical development in Greece.
