The project “Vocational Education and Training for sport workers – Innovative program for building personal and social skills” (VET4SPORT) aims to promote empowerment, inclusion, and respect for diversity by enhancing the professional skills of sport workers, as innovative approach to VET. The project has contributed to good quality coaching and training by providing access to knowledge upgrading their HR skills and liberal values, as necessary to their profession. The project has created:
- New learning mechanisms for sport workers which can be utilized in the region and internationally;
- Professional enhancement for sport workers;
- Increase the competitiveness of regional and EU sport workers by using contemporary VET methods;
- Contribution to achieving national targets for VET standards, henceforth EU's.
Upcoming events within the project are to be organized by the project partners in order to test and promote the project results.
Training: HR skills Curricula for Sport Workers and Social Values Curricula for Sport Workers
A short-term training for practical implementation of the developed curricula is to be organized within the project. The training offers possibility to coach sport workers in a standardized and structured manner, it offers unique platform for them to develop the values and skills which will help them become empowered, competent, responsible and compassionate citizens and create great impact in society. The offered educational program which is a match of academic knowledge, HR practices, personal development techniques, neurolinguistics programming and especially important coaching approach, offers unique leadership program for soccer trainers. This program is based on values integration in sport culture.
The training is to take place in Skopje, North Macedonia in FFM facilities on 17.06.2019-21.06.2019. It is expected that soccer trainers from Greece, Italy, Austria and North Macedonia attend this training and get first-hand experience of the innovative curricula created for their needs.
Multiplier event: Final Conference on Dissemination of results and promotion of project measures
Final Conference is to be organized in order to promote the results of the project and enhance the visibility of the topic of the project. The event will represent the final closing of the project and the most important event that is to achieve the greatest outreach related to the project results and its promotion for greater impact. The objectives of the Conference are defined as follows:
- Promotion of the achieved results of the project;
- Prominent key speakers, with relevant coaching and football experience, and UEFA representatives share their views on the topic;
- Exchange of information and ideas on vocational education and training for soccer trainers;
- Networking between soccer professionals from North Macedonia, Greece, Italy, Austria and other EU countries.
The Conference is to take place in Skopje, North Macedonia in Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton on 21.06.2019. It is expected that relevant representatives from the soccer world attend this very important event.
