SEERC announces the possibility for Greek start-ups to participate at the Balkan Venture Forum - COINVEST Edition in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, on November 12-13, 2014
Continuing the success story of the former events of this prestigious investment forum, SEERC, the research centre of the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield - CITY College in Thessaloniki, in the framework of the ‘EU project VIBE – Venture Initiative in the Balkan Europe’ once more encourages Greek start-ups and innovative SMEs to register for the 6th Balkan Venture Forum - COINVEST Editionat the Perla Casino & Hotel in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, on 12-13 November 2014.
For this edition joining forces with the COINVEST Tech Investment Conference, the BkVF is shaping up to be one of this year’s most exciting entrepreneur-meets-investor events! Participants will include start-up companies, established SMEs, new and experienced entrepreneurs from various business sectors, support agencies, innovation experts, policy makers and a wide array of high-level international venture capitalists and investors.
Besides the diverse and rich programme of attractive panels, speeches, networking and match-making opportunities,50 selected companies will be taking the stage and will present their venture in front of expert panelists, competing for investors’ interest. The forum’s top 25% presenters will get direct access to theEuropean Venture Summit 2014, in Germany, in December. BkVF COINVEST will be attended by 60+ international and regional heavyweight investors, such as Central Europe Trust, Crimson Capital, ERA Capital and RSG Capital, looking for their next investment targets.
On November 11, 2014 startups have the opportunity to participate at a half-day coaching session to get prepared for their pitch.
The South-East European Research Centre (SEERC) in Thessaloniki within the framework of the project VIBE (Venture Initiative in the Balkan Europe)provides support for a limited number of selected start-ups from Greece, that have been accepted to pitch their venture, at the BkVF in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.
