According to the European Research Ranking, the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC) ranks number 18 among all Greek, private and public, research organisations based on the performance of its participation to Funded Projects for 2012.
The European Research Ranking provides innovative estimates on the funding and networking perfomance of European research institutions, which are based on freely available data published by the European Commission. The performance score for selected European research institutions is based on the following indicators:
- Funding and project participation performance
- Networking activity and alliances
- Diversity of research areas
European Research Ranking, structures annual ranking lists and aims to increase transparency of research funding within the European Research Area. It facilitates understanding of the European funding policies, to identify research alliances, to understand the cash flow among European countries and institutions and how much money is spent for scientific research.
