The South-East European Research Centre (SEERC), research centre of the International Faculty of University of Sheffield, CITY College, in Thessaloniki, organises a Greek delegation to participate at the Balkan Venture Forum (BkVF) in Sofia.
Balkan Venture Forum (BkVF) is the largest venture capital, private equity and investment forum in the region, created to facilitate assess to finance, to improve investor readiness, to catalyze innovation into global business and to foster development of entrepreneurship capability.
The event provides multi-value streams for all target audiences: entrepreneurs, investors, partners, supporters and donors, government representatives, corporate venture arms, innovators and academics.
The Balkan Venture Forum also launches a competition for entrepreneurs from the Balkans that will help them to:
-acquire investments
-connect to the community of investors
-build capacity and competences.
BkVF is being organized by Balkan Unlimited, and its subsidiary Balkan Unlimited Bulgaria in partnership with Europe Unlimited, a leading pan-European venturing event and investor network.
BkVF is one of the main objectives of the SEE Programme project VIBE (Venture Initiative in Balkan Europe) and is being co-financed by the European Union through the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Program.
