Around 100 partners, policy-makers and other innovation stakeholders gathered in Berlin, on 12-14 October, for the Europe INNOVA Annual Partnering Event, hosted by the Fraunhofer Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (Fraunhofer MOEZ). The participants spent one and a half days in thematic sessions, round table discussions and case study presentations that considered how the Europe INNOVA partnerships might move to large-scale demonstrators.
Prof. Panayiotis Ketikidis, Chairman of SEERC Management Committee and Vice Principal for Research, Innovation & External Relations of City College – International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, was an invited speaker in the event's thematic session on 'Transforming regional economies'.
Europe INNOVA is a European initiative which aspires to become the laboratory for the development, testing and promotion of new tools and instruments in support of innovation, with a view to helping innovative enterprises to innovate faster and better. The aim is to support all forms of innovation, taking into account the great societal challenges of today.
