The consortium meeting of the MORMED project took place on the 29th of September 2011 in Debrecen, Hungary and it was hosted by the Medical and Health Centre, University of Debrecen (UD MHSC CID). The meeting provided a fruitful environment for all partners to present and discuss the latest developments in the project.
During the meeting the first release of the MORMED Platform was demonstrated to the medical partners participating in the MORMED project. The demonstration was done by LTC and SEERC, responsible for the research and technological development of the MORMED Platform.
A training session took place during the meeting with the aim to transfer knowledge for using the capabilities of the MORMED Platform to the medical partners. In the last year of the project, the medical partners will pursue the full scale use of the MORMED Platform, by engaging general practitioners, researchers, doctors, and patients from the medical domain of rare diseases.
Finally, the on-going dissemination activities were presented, while a plan was discussed concerning the evaluation and the continuous evolution of the platform during the last year of the project.
