South-East European Research Centre (SEERC)

On the 8th of December 2003, SEERC hosted the workshop “Tools for Strengthening Internationalisation and Networking” organized by the Institute of International Education Network in the frame of its University Workshop series. The workshop was delivered with the generous support of the Stavros Niarchos foundation.

The main topic of the workshop addressed global student mobility patterns. Sessions evolved around themes such as Internationalisation and Multiculturalism, Technology and Intercultural Interactions, with special sessions dedicated to US and European funding programmes as resources for exchange schemes. SEERC in collaboration with CITY College gave the South East European perspective on student mobility patterns and the workshop ended with discussion on modes of outreach to international students and networking methods.

Since 2003, SEERC has been a member of the Institute of International Education.
