Proceedings of the 11th Annual South-East European Doctoral Student Conference: Infusing Research and Knowledge in South-East Europe
This volume consists of papers presented at the 11th Annual SEERC Doctoral Student Conference (DSC 2017). The Conference, organized by the South East European Research Centre (SEERC) was successfully held during 17-19 of May 2017 at CITY College, International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, in Thessaloniki, Greece, during the 2nd Young Researchers' Skills Development Week 2017 (YRW 2017).
The 11th Doctoral Student Conference (DSC 2017) was organised by SEERC, with consistency to the common aim of the former conferences, to bring researchers from different countries closer and to explore collaborative links between disciplines, for testing the ground for innovative ideas and for engaging the wider academic community.
This particular conference attracted a great number of submissions and resulted in 17 presentations of full papers. Once again the conference was multidisciplinary in nature, and was organised around three following themes which map to the research areas in which SEERC is active:
- Enterprise, Innovation and Development
- Information and Communication Technologies
- Society and Human Development: Psychology, Politics, Sociology & Education
